RESUME COACHING
Your resume is the most important document for the management of your career. Resume styles will differ according to the type of resume, the type of career, and the culture of the country. Adept Group’s Consulting Team has an exceptional degree of experience in working closely with candidates to building a strong and “Adept” resume.
Please use the following guidelines in the creation or updating of your resume. In our experience, the followings areas are the most critical in the decision-making process for our clients, and for establishing the strong first impression needed to progress to the interview phase of the process.

Your resume should contain the following critical sections:

Objective
Your objective should detail your expertise and desired career direction in a clear and concise manner. It is also advised to angle the objective toward the applied position.
Summary of Skills
In this section, please list any outstanding skills or qualifications. This area is specifically relevant for technical careers. If you are in a technical career, please see our Technical Self-Evaluation for guidelines on this area.
Education
In this section list any education credentials from university and beyond. If you did not attend university, you should list your certifications or technical training.
Interests
In this area you should list interests and personal achievements that are relevant to your career.
Summary of Experience
This area is obviously the most critical section of the resume – the listing of your various roles and your achievements within these roles. It is important to detail responsibilities, management experience, results and achievements according to targets (especially relevant if you are in a sales career). In this area you should detail the dates that you were in a particular role and title accurately and clearly, explaining any gaps in your career history. Depending on the country or culture, the order of career experience can be ascending or descending. Adept prefers the descending order.
